Point-slope form- y-y1=m(x-x1), where m is the slope and (x1, y1) is a given point on the line.
Slope-intercept form- y=mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
Parallel lines- Same slope and different y-intercept. Ex. y= 5x+8, y=5x-4
Intersecting lines- Different slopes. Ex. y=2x-5. y=4x+3
Coinciding Lines- Same slope and same y-intercept. Ex. y=2x-4, y=2x-4
